These are some pictures from a few of the events Brass Cannon has been involved in at our current home, our previous location in Toano and out and about in a variety of places.
Only a handful of the events we've done are showcased here, and we do quite a few. Events are held often, so check out our
Angry Scot Canning Run
The Angry Scot, Brass Cannon's best selling beer, has finally made it into 12 oz. cans!
On October 3rd, we put our Wee Heavy into cans just in time for the cooler weather! Six packs of this malty brew are now available in our tasting room.
One Year in Williamsburg Party
We had a party to celebrate our being in our new home for one full year. We opened the doors of our Mooretown road location on August 6th, 2016 and celebrated it on August 5th, 2017.
Ok, so it wasn't exactly a whole year yet, but we were excited. We hosted live music from Elder Berry Jam and the Delta Daggers!
Hungry Hungry Arrow served delicious food, and we sold 12 ounce cans of our Muzzle Flash for the first time!
First Canning Run
On August 4th we put our very first beer into cans! 12 ounce metal cylinders were filled with our Muzzle Flash Amber Ale.
Thanks go to Iron Heart mobile canning company for coming by and getting us started.
Six packs of the Flash are now available in our tasting room, and soon to be found on store shelves around town.
Tartans and Tie-Dye
On March 11th, 2017 we hosted the 2nd Annual Tartans and Tie-Dye charity concert.
There was a lot of great music, local bands that playing Celtic music and Grateful Dead inspired jams!
Everyone had a great time and we raised over $3000 for
Relay for Life!
Beer Dinner with
Hungry Hungry Arrow
On February 12th, we paired up with
Hungry Hungry Arrow to deliver a culinary and beeronary (definitely not a real word) experience. A four course meal of gourmet food was served by HHA and each course was paired with a BCB beer specially selected to go with it.
A special new beer (chocolate stout) was made for dessert! Tickets were sold ahead of time and we wound up packing the place with hungry patrons.
Beer Talk at Hair of the DoG
We were the featured beer at Hair of the DoG bottle shop on February 10th, 2017. Phil was there discussing beer and Brass Cannon with a crowd of thirsty guests.
Tide Radio Interview
We were interviewed on local radio Tide FM 92.3 for their Local Voices segment.
We had to get up earlier than we usually like to, but it was a lot of fun.

Grand Re-Opening
We'd been waiting and waiting, but our new tasting room on Mooretown Road opened its doors to the general public on August 6th, 2016.
We were greeted with a great crowd of beer lovers who all seemed to have a great time sampling our brews.
Thank you to everyone who braved the heat to come visit us as we opened up again for the first time in several months. You are all awesome!
Norfolk Beer Festival 2016
We were at the Norfolk Beer Festival, held in Town Point Park on June 21st and 22nd.
Tony and Scott were there on Saturday to talk about our beer and upcoming expansion.
Farewell to Toano Party
We held a farewell party to commemorate our old brewery location. We all did a great job celebrating Brass Cannon's first home.
Pirate Parties
Pictures from the pirate parties we held at the old Toano brewery. There was singing and merrymaking and everybody had a great time.
